A 7.4V battery pack typically refers to a rechargeable lithium-based pack made from two 3.7V nominal cells connected in series, often described as a “2S” configuration. The pack has a fully charged voltage of around 8.2–8.4 volts and a cut-off voltage near 6.0 volts, depending on the protection settings.</p
Compared with single-cell solutions, the increased voltage can reduce current for the same power level, which helps minimize cable losses and improves overall system efficiency. 7.4V packs remains lightweight and compact while providing fast charging capability, low self-discharge and a relatively flat discharge curve.
7.4V battery packs are widely used in drones and UAVs, remote-controlled (rc) vehicles, portable medical devices, power tools and portable electronics, robotics and automation, military and tactical equipment, others.
7.4V battery packs can be customized in terms of capacity, discharge rate, size, shape and interface to match different application requirements. By tailoring both the electrical configuration and mechanical design, it is possible to optimize runtime, peak current capability, safety margin and installation convenience, providing a dedicated 7.4V power solution for every applications.
